Meet the Team

A. Ryan Parker, MHR, SHRM-SCP

Ryan's passion for inclusion and growth has been the forefront of Ryan's career because he knows the way to truly move forward is together. Ryan obtained his bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Winthrop University in 2011, Masters of Human Resources from University of South Carolina in 2014, HR Analytics Certification from Cornell in 2020, and SHRM-SCP Certification in 2020. He has obtained experience through working in multiple industries including; Medical Technology, Financial Services, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Transportation, and Non-profit for organizations ranging from 15 employees domestically to 100k employees globally. Throughout Ryan's career he has held multiple HR roles touching every aspect of the HR function including being an Global HR Director, HR Site Leader, Learning and Development Specialist, HR Business Partner, Compensation Specialist, and Benefits Specialist. 


After completing his Master’s degree Ryan joined GE Capital/Synchrony  Business Leadership Program where he held several roles as an HR Business Partner, Learning and Development Specialist, Leadership Development Program Manager, and Site HR Leader. Ryan then joined Medtronic as a Global HR Director where he oversees strategic HR support for several business groups.

Throughout his studies and career Ryan has gained deep expertise in Leading, HR Analytics, Leadership Coaching and Development, Employee Engagement, Crisis Management, Organization Design, HR Strategy and Diversity and Inclusion strategy.


Outside of work Ryan focuses on environmental sustainability, being active, social and leadership coaching to undeserved communities. Ryan is a member of the board of directors for Winthrop University's HR.
